Today we held a belated NAIDOC event . Our students thoroughly enjoyed watching and learning traditional dance moves, story time with the Aunties, painting artworks and tasting delicious Johnny Cakes and Uncle Stan's Stew.
We thank our Adopted Elders Aunty Jenny and Aunty Lola, members of the Women's group, Alfie the digeridoo player, Parents and the Bundaberg North State High School Indigenous Dance group for attending and sharing their culture through dance, music, storytelling and art. Thank you to our own Ms Vicki and Ms Tiara for cooking delicious Johnny Cakes and Uncle Stan's Stew and organising this significant event for our students.
