Each year our Junior and Primary students participate in National Simultaneous Storytime as part of Library and Information Week. This year's theme was Adventures in Time and Space. Our Junior and Primary students had some astronomical fun at our National Simultaneous Storytime event where we joined thousands of libraries across Australia to read Give me some space by Phillip Bunting. We watched astronauts in space, built our own space station and enjoyed making and eating a 'rocket' sandwich. Our Secondary and Senior students had the opportunity to see the book being read live from the International Space Station by astronaut, Dr Shannon Walker.
