Bundaberg Special School has a dedicated team of teachers and teacher aides who are committed to providing learning experiences that build futures for our students through curriculum that is designed to build and broaden knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live and integrate. The curriculum is differentiated to meet the unique learning needs of individual students.
Student learning in Prep to Year 10 through the modification of age equivalent learning in the Australian Curriculum (P-10) across all eight learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), The Arts, Technology, Healthy and Physical Education, and Languages. Literacy, Numeracy and Communication are embedded within all units of work in addition to regular focused learning.
Our purpose is to achieve the best education outcomes for each student by:

- Ensuring all students have a mode of communication to engage with peers and staff during learning and conversations
Our school is divided into 4 areas:
Junior Prep- Year 2
Primary Year 3 – Year 6
Secondary Year 7 – Year 10
Senior Year 11 – Year 1
