Students of Bundaberg Special School may be enrolled in one or more VET certificate courses offered through the Special Education Training Alliance (SETA) that are taught at Bundaberg Special School by VET trained school staff. These courses are overseen and managed by the SETA central RTO based at Western Suburbs Special School (RTO 41021). On successful completion of the course each student is awarded a nationally recognised qualification. If a student does not complete the full qualification, they would then receive a Statement of Attainment outlining the units that have been successfully completed.

- AHC10222 – Certificate I in Agriculture

Certificate 1 HospitalityThis certificate is an entry-level qualification aimed at individuals entering the hospitality industry. The course focuses on the basic skill set needed to work in both front of house and back of house areas. A range of delivery modes will be used during the teaching and learning of this qualification. These include, face-to-face instruction and work-based learning. Assessment is competency based and completed in simulated hospitality workplace environments.
Certificate 1 Agriculture
This qualification is an entry-level qualification aimed at individuals entering the agriculture, horticulture and conservation and land management industries. It allows individuals to develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare for work. They may undertake a range of simple tasks under close supervision. Students will utilize the school facilities of a working farm and nursery to use hands on learning to demonstrate their competence in this course.
