My name is Trina and I am the new School Chaplain for 2024. I will be working on Mondays from 8am- 3:30pm. The day starts with Breakfast Club and then I am hoping to meet and connect with as many students, parents and teachers as I can throughout this first term.
I have previously worked as a SU Chaplin in both Hervey Bay and Bundaberg area from 2013-2019, and then moved into Queensland Corrections Sector as an AOD Counsellor. So, it has been really refreshing for me to start 2024 back in Chaplaincy; to walk into this Schools caring, encouraging and supportive environment and witness that for all that enter through its gates.
