Our Middle School is divided into 2 sectors: Primary and Secondary.
Primary Year 3 - Year 6
Students in the Primary Sector engage in a 4-year cycle of differentiated age equivalent units, assessing the Australian Curriculum.
Students engage with learning areas of the Australian Curriculum through modified planning and differentiated teaching and assessment in;
English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), The ARTS, HPE, Technologies and Languages. Each term, students engage in focus units of work additional to English and Maths. The 4-year cycle ensures students cover all curriculum aspects through various contexts.
Individual student communication remains a priority to continue to develop autonomous communication and/or develop Speech language strategies for students to communicate their learning, and to engage socially with peers and adults.
Secondary Year 7 - Year 10
Students in the Secondary Sector engage in a 4-year cycle of differentiated age equivalent units, assessing the Australian Curriculum.

Transitioning into adolescents brings different challenges for some students. Students may engage in focussed learning from the Respectful Relationships or TRUE Relationships and Sexual Education programs to support the understanding of personal changes and appropriate interactions within the school environment. Parents/Carers will contribute to discussions for effect support for individual students.
