Bundaberg Special School has a dedicated team of teachers and teacher aides who are committed to providing learning experiences that build futures for our students through curriculum that is designed to build and broaden knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live and integrate. The curriculum is differentiated to meet the unique learning needs of individual students.Student in Prep to Year 10 engage in learning through the modification of age equivalent contexts of the Australian Curriculum, across all eight learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), The Arts, Technology, Health and Physical Education, and Languages. Students in Years 3-10 engage in Auslan as our Languages focus. Students engage in curriculum learning at their appropriate cognitive level and documented through their Individual Curriculum Plan.

Our school is divided into 4 sectors:
Junior: Prep- Year 2
Primary: Year 3 – Year 6
Secondary: Year 7 – Year 10
Senior: Year 11 – Year 12
